英国签证可以用托福吗？
在2016年7月1日之前，所有申请Tier4 General 学生签证申请者必须提交有效的英语能力证明，而雅思考试（包括学术类和培训类）一直是最受认可的英语测试之一。 但自2016年7月起，政府规定可以接受如下成绩作为有效英语成绩以代替原有的雅思成绩：
TOEFL iBT (with at least a score of 59 in all four skills)
IELTS Academic or IELTS Overall Band Score of 6 with no less than 5.5 in each band
PTE Academic (Academic Test) (Minimum score： 51 overall; for the Skills component， minimum scores are Reading – 41， Writing – 48， Listening – 41 and Speaking – 51 )
CAE & CPE IELTS test results are accepted as evidence that the candidate has an appropriate level of English language ability but cannot be used to support visa application. The University does not accept CAE or CPE results for Tier 4 student visa purposes under the immigration rules. These new tests were introduced following the government’s consultation on how best to reform student visa requirements， which took place between November 2015 and January 2016. They will apply to students beginning courses on or after 1 September 2016 who require a Tier 4 visa.
All above mentioned TOEFL， PTE etc must have been taken within two years prior to your visit date， otherwise they can't be recognized by Home Office UK Visa Application Centre. You still need to provide original paper copy of your IELTS/TOEFL etc when applying from China. Please note it is illegal to submit fake documents such as false names in any form， even if you don't know that those names exist！
